Jean Tijou, a French Master Blacksmith, operated in England at the end of the 1600's and was knighted by the Sovereign William III for his services in the creation of Hampton Court Palace.                          It was the favorite summer retreat of king Henry VIII. Recently the castle has been restored and its current condition is very luxurious and full of character.

In creating the Hampton collection we have incorporated traditional scrolls with the grape and leaf motif capturing the history and romance of the fruit of the vine in an ornamental design to achieve a stunning wrought iron insert.
